Welcome to the online home of Fleet Reserve Association Mount Rainier Branch #104. Based in Tacoma/Pierce County, Washington. Our membership primarily lives in South King, Pierce and Thurston Counties. We serve the active duty, reserve, veteran, and retirees of the US Navy, Marine Corps, and US Coast Guard.

2010-11 Membership Drive

The March 2010 General Meeting kicked off this year's membership drive. For every NEW 1 Year membership turned into the branch Secretary/Treasurer with payment, the Branch will pay for a 2nd year as an incentive.

Membership forms can be found on the back page of the bi-monthly Scuttlebutt Newsletter, our membership page, or available through the branch Secretary/Treasurer.

ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 13, 2010) An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Thunderbolts of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron (VMFA) 251 launches from the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) during night flight operations. PACIFIC OCEAN (May 28, 2010) The guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) is underway alongside the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as F/A-18 Hornets prepare to launch during flight operations. George Washington is underway from its permanently forward-deployed port at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka for combat operations efficiency evaluation in the western Pacific Ocean.
